Our creative, natural cuisine uses fresh, seasonal ingredients and careful preparation. Organic food ripens more slowly, is rich in vitamins and impresses with its natural taste — a daily luxury that we spoil you with.
BIO & pleasure at any time of day — our offer:
- Healthy breakfast: Start the day full of energy with our rich vitality buffet. The vegetarian breakfast buffet will make you happy. With lots of fruits, juices, muesli, crispy rolls, selection of bread, raw milk cheese, homemade spreads, low-fat quark, scrambled eggs, hot millet or rice dishes, multi-fruit jam, tomatoes, cucumbers, a selection of Sonnentor teas and digestible coffee.
- Snacks: Apples are available in the restaurant for a small snack.
- Light lunch: Our vegetarian lunch buffet will spoil you with a rich fresh salad buffet and various dressings, herbs, sprouts, oils, balsamic vinegar, nuts and spices. At the buffet, you can choose from a hot dish, potatoes in their skins and quark. We also provide you with our own spring water, enriched by Grander, and delicious fresh buttermilk. A dessert enchants your taste buds.
- Sweet afternoon treat: For a small snack in between meals, we will spoil you with homemade cake — also made from the best organic ingredients, of course. You can also enjoy delicious coffee or tea specialities.
- Varied dinner: In the evening, a selection of menus (additional fish or meat menus four times a week) invites you to enjoy. Our chefs will lovingly prepare a light fit menu, a gourmet menu, or a raw milk cheese variant for you. One of these menus is also available in a carbohydrate-reduced version. Accompany your palate with an exquisite local wine from our diverse wine list or a sparkling fruit juice.
Our recommendation:
Drink at least 2 liters of liquid, mainly in the form of clear water/grander water (from your own well/ natural and unchlorinated). Two to three cups of green tea are also recommended; it strengthens the immune system with its bioactive substances.
Food intolerances:
Please let us know before you arrive. After consultation, we are happy to serve you reduced-calorie, animal-protein, gluten-free and low-acid menus.

We want more!
Excellent product quality is our top priority, but we would like to know more:
How do they affect our health, our bodies, our wellbeing? How is food produced, how does the form of agriculture affect nature and the environment?
Intact nature and our health are two of the most valuable things we can have — and can be immensely influenced by what we eat and drink. That is why we and our “BIO Cuisine Wellness” want to make sure that we are able to serve you the full taste and full range of vitamins of freshly harvested foods that are good for your well-being and for our environment.
Organic
Making no compromises on quality has brought us closer and closer to foods that are produced “in harmony with nature.” Controlled organic agriculture guarantees us that nature is the measure of all things here.
Controlled
There are strict controls for the production and processing of organic food: Each organic farm is comprehensively audited once a year by an independent inspection body. Only those who pass this examination will receive a certificate that is valid for one year at a time.
More flavor
Organic food grows more slowly, which makes it tasty — an intense, natural flavor can develop.
More health and wellbeing
What has long since become an everyday identity for us, as we appreciate it, is also proven by studies. On the one hand, organic food provides us with more bioactive ingredients such as vitamins or secondary plant ingredients, and on the other hand guarantees less harmful ingredients such as nitrate or heavy metals and no genetically modified organisms.
The chefs
For our kitchen team, led by René Steinmetzger, this consistency in food selection is a challenge. Seasonal and regional ingredients are carefully selected and personal contacts are established with Bioland or Demeterhöfen in the surrounding area in order to avoid long transport routes.

Huge breakfast buffet from Bircher muesli, fresh fruit salad, fresh salads, yoghurt, quark, a wide range of cheese and bread to scrambled eggs and millet porridge. At lunchtime, a light menu with a warm main dish, fresh salads and dessert. 3-4 course dinner and buffet in the evening, everything fresh, delicately prepared, healthy.
